Every conversion has a shortcut you can rebind. Or hold Shift, right-click the selection, and pick from the menu.
A small note by the cursor confirms what happened. If it could not, it says why. Silence is treated as a defect.
The one rule everything obeys: there is no scratch textbox anywhere in ReCase. If a feature only works by having you paste text into it, it does not ship. The entire value is that you never leave the application you are working in.

Underscores to spaces, hyphens to spaces, remove all spaces, and pairs of your own. Small, and disproportionately loved for filenames.
Nothing selected? Take whatever is on the clipboard, apply any conversion, and insert the result at the caret. The clipboard is left exactly as it was.
Words, characters with spaces and characters without, for the selection, without leaving the document.
Title and Sentence case leave acronyms alone, apply your dictionaries and respect the language you are typing in. UPPERCASE and lowercase do exactly what they say. When you ask for all of it, you mean all of it.
A dictionary entry maps a word to the exact rendering you want. Entries live in four layers, and the most specific one wins.
Your name, your clients, the things you type every day.
A bid team's client names. An engineering team's part codes.
Product names, brand capitalisation, legal entity names. An admin can mark an entry as enforced so it wins everywhere.
A seed list of unambiguous proper nouns and acronyms. Overridable at every layer above.
Lookups always come from a cache on the machine. ReCase works fully offline and on a flaky VPN, and syncing is never in the path of a conversion.
Identity is Microsoft Entra ID. Your organisation consents once, and team membership and editor roles come from your directory rather than from another list to maintain.
A dictionary editor with CSV import and export. Teams and roles. Policies that can force compatibility mode for a named application, lock a setting, or switch a capability off across the organisation. A list of each user's activated machines, with revoke.
Conversions work with the dictionary layer absent. The menu builds from whatever is enabled. Nothing depends on anything else being on.
The people who need this most sit on corporate machines they cannot install software on. ReCase is designed around that.
